Obama Cares (about Socialism?)
The Supreme Court has officially deemed Obama’s Health care reform as Constitutional. In my opinion, this is long overdue. A health care reform that will help eliminate discrimination, increases in rates, prevent regular checkups, drop you if you’re sick, helping seniors get healthcare and more. This helps those with health insurance and for those without, by 2014, you can choose for a variety of options based on the states set up in exchanges. These exchanges will help provide financial support to people that are going under surgeries and operations from a “pool” that people that don’t have insurance, but can afford it, put money into. These are just a few of the things this law does. But of course there are people of the opposite party that feel like this will put the United States in dire turmoil and are even ready start a coup and a health care rebellion! Republican Party spokesman & Michigan attorney, Matt Davis said, “If government can mandate that I pay for something I don’t want, then what is beyond its power? If the Supreme Court’s decision Thursday paves the way for unprecedented intrusion into personal decisions, then has the Republic all but ceased to exist? If so, then is armed rebellion today justified?” A rebellion? I guess Mr. Davis is trying to out crazy everyone, proving that the Republicans are the dominant lunatics in this coming election. A rebellion usually leads to a lot of casualties, so this will provide Obama with the perfect amount of people for a beta test of his plan, so Mr. Davis might be helping out Obama.
Mitt Romney is, of course, on the opposition of this law, claiming it is unconstitutional. Despite the fact that he’s been calling for universal healthcare, almost exactly like Obama’s since the late 90s. It’s pretty clear that Romney’s headed to beach for the summer, because he’s flip floppin’ all over this healthcare issue.
The republicans are of course crying socialism, as they always do, claiming they shouldn’t be forced into having health insurance. Aren’t you forced into having car insurance if you want to drive? Isn’t that what the Safe Auto commercials tell me to do? Aren’t we forced into having Police Officers, Libraries and Teachers? What are we going to make that an option too? Wait…This seems all too familiar. Oh that’s right we are cutting back on the Popo, aka protection from crime & disorder, teachers & libraries, aka education and lack of ignorance. I guess we’ve been living in a socialist regime for 200 years then, and our neighbors to the north, and across the ocean and the rest of the world have been under the thumb of the Socialist machine this whole time! It’s a global conspiracy to provide us health, education, protection and happiness. Does this mean that we never won the Cold War? Does this mean, when then zombie apocalypse comes around the armies of the undead will be led by Stalin and Lenin finally joining forces?
No, no, no. I think the Republicans should wait till they get sick, and whatever illness they have isn’t covered by whatever insurance they have. Maybe then they’ll see the light in the socialism & Obamacare they sing so much about.
