Boehner & the Theater of the House

After a long list of mishaps, it looks like no one wants to sit at the lunch table with House Speaker John Boehner. Rep. Raul Labrador (R-Idaho) & Rep. Justin Amash (R-Michigan) have both claimed that they don’t want to deal with theater that Boehner has put up over the last year with the debt ceiling issue. This was inevitable since Boehner became the theater kid over the course of the year. From crying on television to causing a tantrum that shut down the government, he made things really uncomfortable people in the House. The jocks like Amash & Labrador just want to get to the bill, while the nerds like Al Franken (D-Minnesota) and Harry Ried (D-Nevada) want to work on writing the next sweet bill to put in front of the House and the President. Meanwhile Boehner’s stunts and one man plays have left everyone startled and stopped things in their tracks. We all are hoping that he just serves his term and goes to some middle of nowhere post Senate home where he can’t bother people anyone and writes fictional thrillers, where people are mean to the over dramatic character.
